I come here 2-5 times a month while on my work lunch break There are 3 items that I love about this place: 1. Our server is always very friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our presence. 2. The food is very affordable. There is a very nice basic lunch menu with portions that are probably more larger than I should be eating. Two people can easily eat lunch for under $15 (including a good tip). 3. The food comes out very fast. Perfect to get out of the office for a quick lunch. I wish I could take advantage of the bar, but such is life of a working person.

Stopped here for lunch, this place is cheap and quick. When we sat down we were given chips and salsa immediately. There was a hot & mild. The salsa was heavy on tomato and just ok. I ordered the chicken chimichanga which came with rice and beans. I don't like beans so I passed on those. The chinichanga was crispy and deep fried, filled with chicken and cheese. It was topped with fresh lettuce, tomato & guacamole. The rice was just ok. We had two lunches for $12 out the door, it was fast and I felt that it was worth the money. Would I go out of my way to eat here, no. Would I recommend it to friends, not necessarily. But overall I want disappointed I ate here.

Very basic AMERICANIZED "Mexican" restaurant. Everything has tons of cheese or toppings and is greasy/buttery. The guacamole was pretty gross and had too much salt (I don't add salt when I make guac nor do I like it that way) and it was super blended with no chunks and a little discolored (brown). The chips and salsa you get to start with were not good. Chips were stale and the salsa tastes like tomato paste.. My quesadilla was dripping in grease/butter and so was everyone else's food. The rice and beans were bland while the rice was cold. The decor in here needs a lot of help. Everything is SOO busy looking. Our waitress was very nice and took great care of us! She kept our glasses full & got all of the orders right even with our accommodations. A++ on the service! But unfortunately the food makes Pancho's fall to two stars.

Grew up near here and now live in San Francisco. First stop after landing, Pancho's. Combination platter Chimichangas Salsa. Have it all!

I have been to Pancho's in the past and have thought it was ok...warranting my return visit to eat more Americanized "Mexican" food. This visit will be my last. Service was SLOW....there were only 4 tables in the restsurant at 7pm on Saturday night, so no excuse. Salsa was super salty, chips were stale ( reused?). Appetizer of flaming cheese was misleading...I was expecting Saganaki style showmanship and some actual flames. What I got was a lump of semimelted lumpy cheese in a bell pepper sauce. The sauce was tasty..however the low quality processed cheese used at Panchos was incapable of melting beyond the blobby state in which it was served. My entree if Chilies Rellenos was mushy and unimpressive drowned in processed cheese. Refried beans were so salty that they were offensive. Rice was bland and overcooked. When we checked out we mentioned that everything was very salty. They ignored the comment as if they didn't understand English and just smiled back at me blankly. My feet and hands are still swollen two days later from so much salt in this meal. Por Favor.....Go to Taco Bell instead of Pancho's.

For the last year and half I've been coming in once a week for lunch. Always quick and great service. It's been a few months because I was trying to save money but as soon as I sat down, Maria remembered my order. Heads up, it's always a little chilly in there so bring a sweater.

This is the second time I had issues there. How about the customer is always right? Well not there. I left ordering from there for 6 months or so and finally gave them another try. It was ok but now I went in and was looking at menu to order carryout when she went over me to help the lady behind me without saying excuse me but also helped another person. I bite my tongue and pointed at what I wanted and said I wanted ckn in enchiladas and beef in burritos mind u the small pk does not have enchiladas. Anyway I get my order and I ck it ask where my tamales are n she said u did not order it . Mind u I had to pay extra and then I just got mad she kept arguing with me when I told her over n over to fix it. I was getting madder cause she was smiling throughout this. Is she refused to put the order in to fix the missing items n still charged more . Then she tells the cook stuff in Spanish when I tell her I understand spanish. I ask her to does she know customer service? I think not. I got my food and left.. never again STAY AWAY.. when I asked for the manager she said my dad is ay home. So it's a loosing case.. I will just warn everyone because this happened 2x there they have no skills. ..

I love their Mexican food! I am so thankful my best friend introduced me to this place! Not only is their food great but their mango margaritas are the best you will find anywhere!

Quit possibly the worst mexican food I have ever eaten. The chips were stale, and the salsa tasted like straight up tomatoe paste. Had a beef chimichanga, the beef was tender but very bland. Rice and beans also very bland and cold.

I have been getting take-out from this place since I was a young tot, but I'd never eaten inside. Yesterday I did, so I thought I'd write about it. Their menu is extensive. I'm a really boring Mexican-eater, as I don't like beans, rice or anything that is good for me. I stick to tacos, and theirs were great. But there was a ton of other choices for people who like variety. I ordered three tacos on flour tortillas; one chicken w/cheese, one beef w/cheese and one steak w/cheese. All three came out hot and delicious and I quickly enjoyed the chicken and beef varieties. By the time I came to the steak, I was full, but I took a bite anyway. The chicken tasted really good although I admit I thought it was the steak when I ate it. The beef was awesome, perfectly seasoned. The steak, what I ate of it anyway, was really salty. I'm not a salty person, so I wouldn't have finished this taco anyway. The food was good but the service was perfect. Our waitress kept me and Jacob up on our refills, answered our questions and was overall really friendly. I'd go back just for her again! I'd try it out. It's cheap, good, filling food.

I've been ordering carry out and dining in at Pancho's since since they've opened (give or take 8 years?) They've never messed up an order, the food is always plentiful and delicious, and the staff is always more than pleasant! Love this place!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
